Winging it in Meg’s hometown with Canh Go Nhoi Thit
I love visiting my hometown farmer’s market and my favorite part is the food vendors. Over the years my visits have shown me the changing face of the Midwest food scene and introduced me to a food which has remained in my memory and won a spot in my top ten foods of all time. It was there that I first got a taste of Vietnamese stuffed chicken wings or Canh Go Nhoi Thit.
These little numbers are made of Vietnamese noodles with some amazing ingredients and flavors stuffed mysteriously into a chicken wing and then cooked with their twist to make one delicious dish. If you visit the Appleton Wisconsin farmer’s market and are lucky enough to find this dish before it is sold out. Wash it down with some Thai tea and it may become one of your most memorable foods also.
